The expected weather front only amounted to about 20 knots and it brought heaps of rain as we entered Bass Strait last night. Today the pace was easier after the hectic pace of yesterday.
Overnight the ship motorsailed along the NSW southern coast passing Ulladulla, Bega and Merimbula. Command Day is only a few hours away now and the YC are vying for positions.
After a series of successful Bear Exercises overnight, the ship entered Jervis Bay after two nights at sea. The 'Pool' was opened and everyone cooled off in the beautifully clear waters.
This is our second day at sea and the YC are loving it. They are a very harmonious group, getting on really well and are sharing some great times together.
