Marshall Baillieu is Managing Director and Head of Resources in Investment Banking at Rothschild Australia Limited. He joined Rothschild in 1995 in Washington DC and moved to Sydney in 2004. Marshall holds a Masters of Business Administration and Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical), and has attended the World Bank sponsored Executive Development Program at Harvard University. His interests include restoration of wooden boats, and he has extensive yacht racing experience.

Stephen Moss was appointed Executive Director of the Young Endeavour Youth Scheme in 2004, following a career in the Royal Australian Navy. He was awarded the Conspicuous Service Cross in 2002 for his contribution to amphibious and afloat support capabilities. Stephen is actively involved in sail training and is Vice-President and International Representative of the Australian Sail Training Association. He holds a Bachelor of Economics and Graduate Diploma of Environmental Law.

RADM Gilmore is the Commander of the Australian Fleet, responsible for preparation and provision of Navy capabilities for operations. His career has included appointments as Commanding Officer HMAS ARUNTA and Director General Navy Strategic Policy and Futures. In 2006 he was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in recognition of his service as Commander Task Force 58. He was promoted to Rear Admiral in 2008 and appointed Commander Australian Fleet in 2009.

Marcus Blackmore is the Chairman of Blackmores Limited. He is a member of the NSW Maritime Advisory Council, Deputy Chair of the Australian Defence Reserves Support Council and an honorary trustee of the Committee for the Economic Development of Australia (CEDA). In 1998 Marcus was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia for service to business, industry and the community. His interests include yacht racing and he holds a helicopter pilot's licence.

Suzanne Daniel is a Communication Consultant who has worked as a journalist for the United Nations, ABC TV, the Sydney Morning Herald and the BBC London. She was awarded a Vincent Fairfax Fellowship in 2000 through the St James Ethics Centre, is a member of The Institute of Company Directors and sits on the board of Hunter Hall International Ltd. She counts sailing the roaring forties off the west coast of Tasmania in 'Defiance' as good preparation for parenting.

John Dixon is the Managing Director of Silk Logistics Group. He was formerly Chief Operating Officer/Executive Director of SKILLED Group, Executive Director of Patrick Corporation, Executive Director of Fox Group Holdings, and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics. John has over a decade of involvement with community-based awareness programs ranging from hospitals to youth assistance. He is a keen competitive yachtsman and restorer of wooden boats.

John Calvert-Jones is Chairman of Seafirst Australia Pty Ltd, a family investment company. He was educated at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, and served with the British Army in Malaysia, West Germany and the United Kingdom. John is a Council Member of the National Gallery of Australia, a Trustee of The Calvert-Jones Foundation, and a Director of the Kimberley Foundation Australia and the McClelland Gallery.

Ronald Fisher was formerly Managing Director of Raytheon Australia and is now the Managing Director of Celebrations Group and advisor to DMO. Prior to assuming his current position, Mr Fisher served as President Raytheon Canada, President of International Operations for South Asia, and Senior and General Manager of Raytheon's Australian Engineering and Construction business. Before joining Raytheon, Mr Fisher was General Manager of Rockwell's Australian Base Operations.

Kate Traill is a Barrister-at-Law and a Director of the NSW Bar Association. She served as an elected Councillor on Mosman Council from 2004-2008. Currently she is an Acting Crown Prosecutor with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions. Kate holds the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Australian Navy Reserve and is Aide-de-Camp to Her Excellency the Governor of New South Wales. She holds a Bachelor of Arts LLB with Honours in Politics and Fine Arts.

Commodore Geraghty is the Director General of the Australian Navy Cadets, an appointment he holds as a Reserve Officer. Commodore Geraghty was a hydrographic specialist (seas surveying and naval charts) and spent the bulk of his career in the uncharted waters of Australia and foreign nations. He has served with the Navies of the USA, PNG, UK and NZ. He was Commanding Officer of HMNZS Monowai and HMAS Flinders and Executive Officer of HMS Hydra.

Rebecca Kuehn sailed in Young Endeavour from Brisbane to Sydney in 2006, and in 2007 received an Australian Sail Training Association Youth Exchange Scholarship to sail in STS Lord Nelson. She sailed the 2008 Sydney Hobart Yacht Race in Young Endeavour, qualified as a Watchleader in the Spirit of New Zealand in 2010, and sailed in Leeuwin II in 2010 as a companion for a young blind person. Rebecca also completed the Jubilee Sailing Trust Leadership At Sea Programme in 2007.
