Who makes the Young Endeavour all happen? It's quite a crew:

Kirsten joined the team in June 2007, having escaped the public servant mecca of Canberra. Kirsten looks after the finance and business aspects of the YEYS, so if you are late paying, she will be the one harassing you. Kirsten completed a voyage from Bundaberg to Brisbane in August 2007. She had a great time but it is lucky she is a bean counter, because she was useless at sailing!!

Murray first sailed as a youth crew member aboard Young Endeavour in 2000 and has been involved with Tall Ships ever since. Keen to stay involved in the maritime life he began working for the HM Bark Endeavour Foundation as the Crew Manager for the Endeavour Replica until 2002 when he joined the Australian Public Service eventually finding his way back to YEYS in 2004. Since then Murray\'s primary role has been as the Youth Development and Voyage Coordinator. In that time Murray has become a qualified Watch Leader and served on both the ship and the office, participated in international studies into, and presented at international conferences on, the benefits sail training, has developed both the youth development and Young Leaders programs as well as the YEYS Corporate training packages and the YEYS Generic Youth Development Program. Murray is currently developing evaluation and assessment tools for the scheme.

Jen looks after the media, marketing and sponsorship activities.

Blue joined the Young Endeavour office as a part-time Reserve position helping the Voyage Coordinator manage the workload for the youth crew throughout the year.
