Situation at 1700:

Last night was spent at sea sailing back up Spencer Gulf towards our final destination, Port Pirie, and conducting some teamwork activities enroute. This morning we proceeded alongside to pick up some guests from the Port Pirie Crime Prevention Programme. These young people were given the opportunity to help us sail the ship for
three hours, including setting and furling sails and climbing aloft, under the careful supervision of our now expert Youth Crew. The day was a rewarding and enjoyable experience for all.

Now we are back alongside and my final duty of the voyage, after farewelling our guests, was to hand out the Youth Crew's voyage certificates and the Order of Australia Emblem to the Youth Crew
member who exemplified the spirit of the voyage and the Young Endeavour Youth Scheme, this voyage Matthew Colledge.

That concludes my short posting to this excellent ship, next voyage the full time Commanding Officer, Andrew Davis returns. As ever, it has been a priveledge and pleasure working with his wonderful team and a great organisation.

Signing off for now,
Cap'n Bob.
