Port Phillip Bay sailing under all sqaure sails. strong winds.
Yesterday remained at anchor off McCrae, Port Phillip Bay. The Youth Crew experienced first hand the passage of a squall and rode out the strong winds which followed for several hours. All watches
continued the olde traditional rope races and during the evening a challenging ship's quiz night won by the famous Mic Cafe Team. All watches overnight participated in the electric fence exercise designed to develop team effectiveness and monitor own performances. A fabulous outcome with all watches exceeding their own expectations, well done. Today the ship sailed away from the anchorage and is currently sailing under all squares, both t'ween mast staysails and
the mainsail.

YOUTH CREW IMPRESSIONS

Andrew, Tasmania - Beautiful, strong people and the presence of the ocean created an excellent learning environment. I love the sea even more.

Philip, Canberra - Had a fantastic time learning about tall ships and salty sea dogs.

All the best,
