Captain's Log Friday 9 December 2005.

Ahoy Shipmates-

What a great 24 hours. We overnighted at anchor in the picuturesque
Refuge Cove on the east coast of Wilson's Promontory.

Since yesterday's log entry we have been ashore for some sport and a
walk on the beach, and eveybody went for their first climb aloft.
During the night every member of the Youth Crew made it to the
Topgallant yard, almost 30 m off the water.

We sailed this morning at 0900 after morning brief, and are now
sailing at 5 knots towards Deal Island. The whole crew are looking
forward to our next mission - to find \Gilbert\". Enroute Hibbo gave
an interesting lecture on navigation in preparation for the
forthcoming command day.

The ship will anchor overnight at Deal Is, with the opportunity for
everyone to climb the island and visit the oldest lighthouse keeper's
cottage in Australia (1840). We will sail after luch tomorrow, bound
for Jervis Bay.

Now that we are back at sea, no-one is seasick, and the entire Youth
Crew are getting around with big smiles on their dials - it must be
Chad's curried bangers...

Until tomorrow,
Yours Aye,

Chris
