We're here. It's been a long way, an odyssey perhaps, but we've learned a lot about ourselves and others on this Voyage. We visited Alyangula, Groote, Gove, Port Essington and passed through the Hole-in-the-Wall (well, sort of). It took us 17 days and we sailed well over 1000 miles and the Youth Crew and Staff Crew had a ball.

Next trip is to Broome and it commences on 2 July. We've got a weeklong break in Darwin so that we can refresh ourselves and we are looking forward to visiting the north west of Australia. Nick will have the last say on the Voyage just completed....

Youth Crew entry by Nick Jones - Age 23, Sunshine Coast.
Our days at sea are over, for some of us this time has come all too soon, while for others it has been a welcomed relief. During our time aboard adventures have been made, friendships have been formed, lessons have been learned and teams have been tested. It has been these experiences that have enabled us as a youth crew to grow from a team into a family.

Now it is time for all of us to move on, and put into action the life skills and lessons that we have learnt. Reality is knocking, and it is time for us to leave this place that we have called home for the last seventeen days and seek new and other exciting adventures. Remembering that without adventure, excitement or accomplishment life can run away from you so: Carpe Diem - Sieze The Day, take it for what it's worth and enjoy the moment.

On behalf of all the youth crew I would like to thank all the staff of the Young Endeavour for making our trip the adventure of a lifetime - without your crazy, fun and caring personalities this trip would not have been any where near as rewarding as what it was - Nick Jones - 'Don't do it because you want to, do it because you can'

Thanks, Nick (aka Alby/Fabio). Don't forget to stick your tongue out when you're working - it makes you 10% stronger and smarter.

Stay tuned and catch you on the flip side

Andrew Davis - Captain, STS Young Endeavour
