FABULOUS AFTERNOON SAILING IN BASS STRAIT. THE CONDITIONS WERE
FANTASTIC AND YOUNG ENDEAVOUR WAS SAILING CLOSE HAULED MAKING
EXCELLENT PASSAGE SPEED. ON DECK A SERIES OF TACKING DRILLS REALLY
FOCUSED ALL YOUTH CREW. AFTER THE FINAL TACK THE TOPSAIL WAS SET AND THE SHIP SAILED INTO PORT PHILLIP BAY. ONCE IN THE SOUTH CHANEL A COURSE WAS SHAPED TO RYE AND YOUNG ENDEAVOUR ANCHORED OVERNIGHT AT CHAPEL SOUND. BRIGHT AND EARLY THIS MORNING EVERYONE WAS TRANSFERRED SHORE TO THE BEACH. THE YOUTH CREW TACKLED AN UNEXPECTED MESS ON THE BEACH AND WITH THE SUPPORT PROVDED BY THE LOCAL GREY MART STORE CLEANED UP AND LEFT THE BEACH IN PRESTINE CONDITION FOR OTHER AUSTRALIANS TO ENJOY. YOUNG ENDEAVOUR DEPARTED THE PENNINSULA AND IS MAKING GROUND NORTH TO HOBSONS BAY. ALL WELL.
