PAST 24 HOURS

GREAT PAST TWENTYFOUR HOURS AS ALL YOUTH CREW ARE SETTLING WELL
INTO SHIPBOARD ROUTINES. YESTERDAY AFTERNOON THE TODAY SHOW CAMERA CREW JOINED FOR LINE HANDLING AND SAIL SETTING DRILLS AS WE SAILED AROUND SYDNEY HARBOUR. MANY YOUTH CREW INTERVIEWS WERE GIVEN AND THE CONDITIONS WERE VERY FAVOURABLE. THE FRESHENING WINDS DEEMED IT NECESSARY TO SEEK SHELTER OVERNIGHT IN HUNTERS BAY. OVERNIGHT ALL WATCHES WERE KEPT EXTREMELY BUSY CLIMBING ALOFT, SECURING CASKETS ON ON THE MAIN SAIL AND TOPSAIL, CONDUCTING ROUNDS AND FIXING THE SHIP'S POSTITION. THIS MORNING EVERYONE WAS UP NICE AND EARLY FOR DECK ACTIVITIES BEFORE CONDUCTING \HAPPY HOUR\". THIS IS WHERE THE SHIP IS CLEANED FOR TOP TO BOTTOM. THE ENGINEER HOSTED THE FIRST SET OF ROPE RACES TO ENCOURAGE WATCH SPIRIT AND SHIP KNOWLEDGE. JUST BEFORE LUNCH YOUNG ENDEAVOUR SAILED THROUGH SYDNEY HEADS. ALL WELL
