AS YOUNG ENDEAVOUR SAILED NORTH ALL HANDS CLOSED UP TO
ROTATIONAL AND DEMONSTRATION TACKING STATIONS. THIS PARTICULAR
EVOLUTION PREPARES ALL YOUTH CREW FOR COMMAND DAY. IT ALLOWS
EVERYONE THE OPPORTUNITY TO EXPERIENCE THE DRILL FROM A DIFFERENT STATION AND FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF THE BRIDGE. OVERNIGHT THE BREEZE EASED REQUIRING THE SHIP TO MOTOR SAIL AGAIN TO REACH MIDDLE PERCY ISLAND. EACH WATCH CONDUCTED A TEAMWORK EXERCISE AND COMPLETED THESE DRILLS EXCEPTIONALLY WELL. DURING THE FORENOON WATCH EACH WATCH WERE REQUIRED TO SET SET AND FURL NOMINATED SAILS. COLLECTIVELY THEY COMPLETED THESE DRILLS IN A SEAMAN LIKE MANNER. WELL DONE TO ALL WATCHES. YOUNG ENDEAVOUR ANCHORED OFF MIDDLE PERCY ISLAND FOR AN OPPORTUNITY TO EXPLORE THE ISLAND AND ELECT THEIR COMMAND TEAM.

YOUTH CREW IMPRESSIONS

STACY, SMITHTON. IT IS NOW DAY FIVE OF THE TRIP AND I AM REALLY
ENJOYING IT. MY MOST MEMORABLE THING ABOUT THE TRIP AT THE MOMENT IS WHEN WE ANCHORED AT GREAT KEPPEL ISLAND. A DOWN POINT OF THE TRIP I HAVE'NT REALLY HAD ANY. HAVING A GREAT TIME.

DAMON, RIVERSIDE TASMANIA. I'M HAVING A GOOD TIME APART FROM BEING SEA SICK YESTERDAY. BUT I AM READY FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS OF THE VOYAGE.

MIKI, GEMFIELDS.
HELLO TO ALL. HAVING AN AWESOME TIME. CLIMBING ALOFT, MAKING NEW
FRIENDS AND LEARNING HEAPS ABOUT SAILING HAVE BEEN THE BEST. THE
OCEAN SWIMS HAVE BEEN GORGEOUS, ALL MEALS ARE LIKE DINING AT
SIZZLER'S AND THE PEOPLE ARE LOVELY. APART FROM MILD SEASICKNESS IN
ROUGH SEAS, THE VOYAGE SO FAR HAS BEEN INCREDIBLE.
