Magnetic Island

All Youth Crew joined at Townsville on time and at 1600 we were away from the wharf and motoring to Magnetic Island. Training started straight away with initial safety and ship familiarisation taking place on our way to Magnetic Island, a short distance off Townsville.Overnight Youth Crew will stand their first watches and continue training with a view to being able to get the ship to sea and sailing by tomorrow afternoon. All are settling in well, the weather pattern is looking favourable, and we’re in a glorious part of the world. This should be a good voyage. Cap’n Bob
