Arriving into Jervis Bay at 12.30pm on Monday we made port at
the HMAS Creswell Naval Base. Disembarking from the ship and getting
their land legs back took a little while but soon the youth crew were
playing ball games ashore and enjoying some free time on Captains
Beach (With World's Whitest Sand). The days activities finished
nicely with a beachside bbq and some deck activities. The youth crews
evening was spent electing a team of individuals to help lead the
ship on its command day on tuesday and wednesday.

After a peaceful horizontal nights sleep (without the rocking of the
ship) the youth crew awoke eager to begin their command of the
Young Endeavour for 24 hours and the final sail into Sydney Harbour
on Wednesday Afternoon.

Command day has now begun and youth crew are in full control of the
ship. Time will reveal their true strengths and weaknesses.

Until tomorrow,
Yours Aye,

Billy, Dave, Stu and Crew.
