Farewell

G\’day viewers, Captain gunna here fror the final time. It was up early this morning to clean up the ship and prepare ourselves for the arrival. With the yards manned and the youth crew singing with gusto we berthed at the Bundaberg Marina at 1000. Final days are always sad and this was no exception. YC 10/10 were fantastic and they should be very proud of their achievments. I thouroughly enjoyed sailing with them and I now have 27 new freinds and shipmates. I presented each of the crew with their certificates and the Order of Australia Medalion to Carlos Robinson who epitomised what the YE youth Scheme is all about. Taking nothing away from Carlos, but the selection process was very difficult which indicates the high standards achieved by this crew. On a personal note, I hand back to the real Captain later today and for me it\’s back to the grind of the office. To the crew, thanks for making me feel so welcome. It has been a blast and a pleasure to sail with each and every one of you. To the YC, keep in touch and see you on facebook. Thanks for the memories.Captain Gunna out.carpe\’ diem
