PAST 24 HOURS

FABULOUS SAILING CONDITION AS YOUNG ENDEAVOUR SAILED AWAY FROM THE ANCHORAGE AT ROBE. CLOSE HAULED ON A PORT TACK ALLOWED ALL YOUTH TO EXPERIENCE THE SHEER THRILL OF SAILING. EACH WATCH CONTINUED SETTING AND TRIMMING SAILS AS THE SHIP COMMENCED BEATING TO WINDWARD BOUND FOR PORTLAND, VICTORIA FOR THE NEXT VISIT.

THROUGHOUT THE NIGHT YOUNG ENDEAVOUR CLOSED UP TO TACKING STATIONS AND TACKED OR IN SOME CASES WEARED SHIP. SENSATIONAL CLEAR SKIES GREETED EVERYONE TODAY AND AFTER A GRAND SET OF CLEANING STATIONS THE ENGINEER CONDUCTED A VERY LIVELY SET OF ROPE RACES.

FOLLOWED STRAIGHT AFTERWARDS WITH THE FIRST INSTALMENT OF SAIL THEORY. ALL THOROUGHLY ENJOYING THE VOYAGE, ALL VERY WELL INDEED.
