On a glorious spring day that only Sydney can offer, we left our berth and arrived at Garden Island. The ship has been away from Sydney for 7 months conducting the circumnavigation, so it was great to return to our home port.

A large group of young Australians that normally wouldn't get to do a Voyage boarded this morning and we went sailing in the most beautiful harbour in the world. We sailed passed the Opera House and under the Bridge before turning around and catching some strong gusts later in the day that really made the ship get a 'lean on.'

The YC were excellent hosts and late afternoon we headed to tonight's anchorage for a swim. And yes, it was nippy.

We're at Sydney Harbour at last, this voyage has been the most amazing experience. From meeting the staff and fellow youth crew to sailing and cooking, everything on board Young Endeavour has taught me so much. I would like to thank the staff and crew who have made the last ten days the most amazing time in my life. I'm going to miss you all.

I finally saw Sydney harbour for the first time yesterday and what a spectacular way to see it sailing through the heads on a perfect spring day, sails set aboard the best tall ship in the world. Seeing Sydney for the first time was only a small portion of the numerous memories, highlights and challenges that I know ill never forget. This has been an absolute trip of a lifetime and I can safely say the best experience of my life. I've had an absolute ball. Thankyou everyone for making my trip so wonderful. I will miss you all soooooo much. Luv Always Dot. (ps Go Crows)

Today is our last day on board the Young Endeavour and I am amazed at how quickly time has flown. The past ten days would collectively be the best and most productive of my life. When I first got on board in
Melbourne I thought I must have gone mad for even thinking I would be able to cope with this voyage and now, in retrospect, I am nothing short of grateful that I toughed it out. I will miss everybody
onboard and hope that I remember every minute of this trip because every second was worth living. Hi to my family, friends and the geese. I'll see you all soon, luv always, Bron

Stay tuned,
Andrew Davis
