PAST 24 HOURS

SAILING SOUTH UNDER ALL FORE AND AFT SAIL WAS A MAGNIFICENT
EXPERIENCE FOR ALL YOUTH CREW. THE WEATHER HAS BEEN EXTREMELY FAVOURABLE DURING THE AFTERNOON THOUGH OVERNIGHT THE VARIOUS WIND SHIFTS KEPT ALL WATCHES VERY BUSY CHANGING SAILS AND CONTINUOUSLY TRIMMING. FELLOW SHIPMATES KEPT A CLOSE EYE ON THOSE WHO WERE NOT FEELING THE BEST AND PROVIDED ALL THE NECESSARY SUPPORT. THIS MORNING WHEN ENTERING JERVIS BAY THE WIND FRESHENED FROM THE SW AS YOUNG ENDEAVOUR CAME TO ANCHOR AT DARLING ROAD. A VERY BUSY PAST TWENTY FOUR HOURS AND EVERYONE IS LOOKING FORWARD TO A WELL EARNED BREAK.

YOUTH CREW IMPRESSIONS

LUKE, MELBOURNE. THE FIRST COUPLE OF DAYS HAVE BEEN AN EYE OPENER. WE CAME EXPECTING TO LEARN A LOT, BUT IT'S BEEN AMAZING. WE'VE GAINED A NEW APPRECIATION FOR WHAT LIFE AT SEA CAN BE LIKE, AND AN UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT LIES BENEATH OUR OUR INITIAL REACTIONS. EXCELLENT.

SAM, CANBERRA. WHOA! WHAT AN EXPERIENCE, THE HIGHS AND LOWS OF BEING A MEMBER OF THE YOUTH CREW ARE AMAZING. LEARNING TO LIVE ON A SHIP SUCH AS THE YOUNG ENDEAVOUR HAS ALREADY TAUGHT ME SO MUCH IN JUST THE 2 DAYS ON BOARD. AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!

DANI, CANBERRA. BEING ON BOARD YOUMG ENDEAVOUR IS THE MOST
EXHILERATING ADRENALINE RUSH EVER. COMING ONBOARD AND SAILING WITH 24 OTHER YOUTH CREW AND 9 STAFFIES OUT IN THE BIG WONDERFUL OCEAN IS THE GREATEST EXPERIENCE EVER. YOUNG ENDEAVOUR IS FAST FRIENDY MOVING SHIP THAT IS AN OPPORTUNITY OF A LIFE TIME.

CAITLIN, CANBERRA. BEING ON THE BOAT AND BEING WOKEN UP AT 4-O-CLOCK IN THE MORNING JUST TO CLIMB UP THE TALLEST PART OF THE SHIP, TO LOOK OVER SYDNEY HARBOUR BRIDGE IS A GREAT EXPERIENCE TO GO THROUGH!!
