FABULOUS CONDITIONS ALLOWED YOUNG ENDEAVOUR TO SAIL UNDER ALL
SQUARES VIRTUALLY FOR THE ENTIRE PERIOD. ON DECK ALL WATCHES TACKLED THE WEATHER EXTREMELY WELL. RUNNING WITH THE WIND SHARPENED ALL ON THE HELM TO KEEP A GOOD COURSE. ALOFT SAILS CONTINUED TO BE TRIMMED AND BRACES ADJUSTED TO CAPTURE THE VARIOUS WIND SHIFTS.

THE FIRST IN A SERIES OF SAIL THEORY PRESENTATIONS INCLUDING A NAVIGATION BRIEF WHICH KEEP THE INQUIRING MIND ACTIVE. OVERNIGHT THE PREVAILING STRONG WINDS EASED ALLOWING FOR A MORE COMFORTABLE SHIPS MOTION.

BY SUNRISE THE MEAN WIND STRENGTH WAS UNDER TEN KNOTS. PRIOR TO
ANCHORING THE SHIP CONDUCTED TWO SUCCESSFUL TACKS AND BEFORE
UNDERTAKING A SAFETY DRILL. A FEW STILL EXPERIENCING SEA SICKNESS
THOUGH MAJORITY ON THE MEND. YOUNG ENDEAVOUR CAME TOO ANCHOR OFF BYRON BAY FOR A WELL EARNED BREAK.
