PRIOR TO TRANSITTING BACK STAIRS PASSAGE BETWEEN MAINLAND SOUTH AUSTRALIA AND KANGAROO ISLAND ALL YOUTH SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED SAIL SETTING DRILLS AND CLOSED UP TO TACKING STATIONS.

OVERNIGHT THE WATCHES HONED THEIR STEERING SKILLS AND PROGRESSED IN SAIL SETTING DRILLS. ON DECK THIS MORNING THE FIRST SET OF ROPE RACES CERTAINLY CHALLENGED THE NEWLY ACQUIRED SHIPS KNOWLEDGE.

MAJORITY HANDLING THE SHIPS MOTION WELL WITH OTHERS BEING LOOKED AFTER BY THEIR FELLOW SHIPMATES.
